Privacy & File Retention Policy
We believe privacy is a fundamental right. ToolHub is engineered to process your files securely with zero persistent data storage.
1. Automated File Retention & Deletion
ToolHub processes your uploads in private, isolated server directories located strictly outside the public web root. To protect your confidentiality:
- Automated 1-Hour Cleanup: All uploaded files and generated conversion outputs are permanently erased from the server by an automated cleanup process within 60 minutes of creation.
- Timed Download Links: Signed download links expire automatically after 15 minutes.
- Immediate Self-Service Deletion: You can click the "Delete all files now" button immediately after downloading your results to remove the entire job folder from our server on demand.
2. Capability-Based Isolation
Every conversion job is assigned a cryptographically random 128-bit job identifier and a 256-bit authorization token. Only your browser session possessing this token can access, convert, or download files from that job.
3. No Accounts, Cookies, or Persistent Tracking
ToolHub does not require an account, email address, password, or subscription. We do not place advertising tracking cookies or build behavioral profiles of our users.
4. Data Security & Encryption
All communication between your device and ToolHub is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS 1.3 encryption (HTTPS) with strict transport security (HSTS).
